The Greene County Youth Athletic Association’s tackle football team (fifth and sixth graders) are honoring the two local Iowa National Guardsmen who have been deployed to Puerto Rico for the relief effort following Hurricane Maria.
-four members of the Iowa National Guard 132nd Security Forces, including youth football coach Shawn Sheuermann and Joe Yoder, learned last Saturday, Sept.30, they were being deployed. Scheuermann coached a game on Sunday and left on Monday.
